Balancing the Seven Chakras; The Spleen Chakra, The Second Step

Anger and resentment, either conscious or subconscious can prevent any individual from experiencing the fullness of life. Whatever you give energy to, multiplies.

The Spleen Chakra captures resentments and can hold those negatives for a very long time. It is located half way between the root center (base of the spine) and the solar plexis (stomach). We call it the abdominal region of the body.

By releasing the hold on past experiences, a renewed and refreshed energy is absorbed in the mind and body.  As you move from chakra to chakra with the colors that correlate with them, you are sending forth the energy to break loose negatives. Each negative that is released leaves room for positive energy to take over.

Orange is the color that correlates with the Spleen Center. Take a swatch of material, pillow, etc. that has a bright hue of orange and meditate upon the vibrancy of the color. Picture a circle of this light and focus on the Spleen Chakra for a while. Let it absorb the cells, tissues, organs and glands all encompassing the abdominal region of your body.

It is not necessary to know the particulars of past issues you might be holding on to, just allow the vibrant orange to penetrate the center and, then, send it forth throughout the body. The rest is up to the subconscious. This step is the second to balancing your Chakras.
Using affirmations can add more energy to the chakra/color meditation. Repeat the following affirmation: "I release, release, release let go and let God."

Next step will be the Solar Plexis........
